Four Girls in Dresses Basket by John W. Anderson

Four Girls in Dresses basket was made by Lakota Sioux John W. Anderson. This traditional Hopi design of Four Girls dancing in their dresses looks like it came from the walls of an ancient cave. The Four Girls symbolize the Four Directions while on the inside circular band within the basket you will find 12 markings representing the months in a year. The 1 1/2" Green circle in the very bottom of the basket represents Mother Earth. The basket has over 50 hours of weaving all done by hand. Measures 6 1/2" high by 8" across. The Four Girls in Dresses basket is priced at $425.00.
