Using the natural red clay of the Navajo reservation, Lone Hair creates his unique and instantly recognizable horsehair pottery. Very traditional, this beautiful style owes its beauty to its simplicity but don't let that fool you. The process through which horsehair pottery is made becomes even more difficult when the artist uses red clay, as there is a much higher risk of the pottery actually exploding during the flaming process! Adding to this, Lone Hair has glazed the entire pot, including the inside, thus making it possible to use this in a traditional ceremony!
