Vintage #8 Turquoise Squash Blossom
[CONJF039]
$2,300.00

Perhaps THE most incredible piece in the Jerome Fritz collection, this vintage sterling silver Navajo squash blossom was made entirely by hand in the late 1950's using beautiful authentic #8 turquoise from Nevada. There are 19 handcut and handshaped authentic #8 turquoise cabachons on this gorgeous vintage squash blossom that has been in the Fritz family since it was given to Jerome by one of the families he helped out while living on the reservation near Shiprock, New Mexico. We recently restrung this piece as the string it was on had deteriorated to the point that it was crumbling. We strung it on a durable wire that will give another 50 years and beyond to whoever is lucky enough to add this to their collection of authentic Native American Indian jewelry from the southwest. Measurements: 25" in length, Naja: 3" by 2 5/8" tall; smaller settings measures 1 5/8" wide and vary in height from 3/4" to 7/8" NOTE: This is a consignment item and as such does not qualify for any special or discounted pricing. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
