Carved and then burned over the course of 100 hours, this incredible statue is a testament to the power and spirit of the buffalo and to the focus and dedication of the artist. All the detail of the buffalo's fur, musculature and face were meticulously burned into the wood to create the highest degree of realism possible. This one-of-a-kind statue will make an incredible heirloom for anyone who loves Native American culture, wildlife, buffalo or fine wood art. Measurements: Base measures 9 1/4" in length and 4 1/4" at widest point. The buffalo stands just over 6 1/2" tall and is 8" from head to tail. He can be gently lifted from his base to admire the detailed finished William achieved on his belly and feet.
