This is an example of some of William Dill's earlier work. One of the last relief carvings he did, this one was carved in 2004. As all of his pieces, this gorgeous Native American Indian carving was done entirely by hand using solid basswood. After he carved the cougar and the landscape, the painted the entire carving with water colors. This is a beautiful work of art that can compliment southwest style homes but is also a perfect gift for anyone who enjoys landscapes, wildlife or nature paintings.
