This original work of art by Cherokee descended artist Wanda Dillard is a mixed media piece and is framed with genuine feathers. One of the most ambitious artists we've ever had the pleasure of featuring, Wanda delves deep into the spirituality of her ancestors and creates some of the most compelling and unique works of art we've ever seen. An accompanying poem, written by Dillard herself, describes the painting:
Night breezes bring sweet
honeysuckle
Wisping through the air
And chants of songs sung long ago
Do whirl all around me
As I hum my own song
And listen to the wisdom
Of the ancient ones
As the Grandmothers speak.
The entire frame measures 30 1/2 by 24 1/2 and the image itself measures 19 by 14" wide. NOTE: This is a consignment item and as such does not qualify for any special or discounted pricing.
