Hand-crafted Bear Scratch Cedar Box
[CONJEBOX017]
$300.00

Using traditional Blackfoot bear scratching, Blackfoot artist Jimmy Eagle Feather and his wife Gayle Two Hawks crafted this gorgeous box from solid genuine cedar. It measures 19 3/4" wide (not including handles), 6" tall and 10 1/2" deep. The latch and hinge are both brass. This one of a kind box was lovingly crafted and then the bear-scratched in the traditional Blackfoot style by Blackfoot artist Jimmy Eagle Feather. He dovetails all the joints and uses only premium hand-selected solid cedar. This box features a combination of deep wave like scratches and tight jagged ones as well. The beautiful bear shield and feathers were burned and then painted by Cherokee Choctaw Osage Indian artist, and wife to Jimmy, Gayle Two Hawks. A wonderful example of beautiful Native American Indian craftsmanship, this beautiful cedar box can be used for almost anything. Again, this is a SOLID cedar box. No veneers and no plywoods or particle boards. It is completely handcrafted and has a very substantial weight. Like all our items, this item comes with FREE shipping. NOTE: This is a consignment item and as such does not qualify for any special or discounted pricing.
