Ingredients

Shredded Meat of Choice
Chopped Onion
Minced Garlic
Chopped Anaheim Chili Pepper
Chopped Jalapeno Chili Pepper
Chili Powder
Ground Cumin
Salt
Tomato Sauce, To Moisten
Freshly Made Corn Tortillas
Corn Husks

Method

+ Cook meat then cool and shred it
+ Season meat to taste with salt, garlic, onion, peppers, and spices
+ Add just enough tomato sauce to moisten meat mixture
+ Make the corn tortillas and set aside uncooked
+ Simmer the corn husks in boiling water until softened then remove from water and drain
+ Spread husks large enough to place a corn tortilla on
+ Place meat mixture on tortilla and roll up making sure tortilla is completely closed and husk is securely in place
+ Place in steamer over boiling water and steam for 2-4 hours, adding water as necessary
+ Serve hot and eat by removing corn husk
