Lone Hair, a Mohican potter whose specialty is red and white clay horsehair pottery, is originally from the eastern United States but relocated to northern New Mexico. His mother, also a respected potter, was instrumental in teaching horsehair pottery to this generation of artisans some 40 years ago! It is from this lineage of tradition and craftsmanship that Lone Hair draws inspiration and guidance from in creating these beautiful pieces of artwork. In addition to his beautiful wedding vases, Lone Hair also crafts gorgeous Native Amerian funeral urns.
