Inspired by her life’s experiences, her world travels, her music and photography and her spirituality that is based on the Native American Medicine Wheel and Hawaiian Spirituality; Mary Chimarusti has taken her visions and placed them upon canvas. Mary is a self-taught artist who depends upon her inner most feelings and her visions to produce her work of art.
Mary Chimarusti was born in Lake Hurst, New Jersey and raised in various states throughout her childhood while her father was serving in the United States Navy. Upon his retirement from the Navy the family settled in San Diego, California where she graduated from High School; Mary attended the University of Hawaii where she received her Bachelor of Education and Psychology and where she was President of Mortar Board (Senior Women’s Honor Society). Graduating with honors again, Mary received a Master of Business Administration from National University. Her company, Aeryden International, LLC is a Quality Management consulting company operating since 1995.
Mary is in the process of publishing a children’s book, Shy Grey Bear, using her bear paintings. She and co-author, Toni Poston, are working towards publishing this book within a year. Her bear paintings will go on sale once the book Shy Grey Bear is published.
Mary Chimarusti is one of the few people talented enough to create a world on canvas where the person viewing her work can walk through her visions and realize what a beautiful story she is telling.
