Blackfoot Indian Jimmy Eaglefeather and his wife Gayle Two Hawks live their lives guided by traditional Indian ways and spirituality. Their gorgeous one-of-a-kind boxes are handcrafted from solid cedar by Jimmy himself. He does the meticulous bear scratching on the outside of the boxes in honour of the very old Blackfoot technique which is seldom used by artists today Each of his boxes feature dove-tailed corners and brass hinges and latches. Then, his incredibly talented wife Gayle takes over and burns the images into the face of the box or the sign and then paints them. Their woodwork is routed in traditional Blackfoot techniques and we are proud to feature their unique work for you. Custom boxes and signs are available. They can put almost any image of your choosing on the box and can create boxes of almost any dimensions. Handles can also be made out of wood or can be made of antlers and/or bones. Boxes can also be inlaid with turquoise. The sky is the limit.
